Hotel Hohenhaus

Man wirbt mit dem Bild eines Schlosses. Dieses ist aber wohl schon seit Jahren geschlossen, soll renoviert werden, wobei man (an einem Wochentag) praktisch keine Bautätigkeit sieht. Die Zimmer sind ausschließlich in der (allerdings sehr aufwändig ausgebauten Remise). Das hätte in dem Angebot stehen müssen!

It was peaceful and the staff were nice. Our daughter loved the pool. The grounds are beautiful.

It is grossly overpriced, should be 40% cheaper. Castle part of Castle hotel closed for renovation, not mentioned on booking. Rooms are in an outdated ugly 90s annex, showers in pool area broken and look like they should be in a hostel. The breakfast is ridiculous, rolls, cheese, cold meats and an egg for 30 euros per person.

Solid wood furnishings, modern TV, cozy room, professional level receptionist, above standard equipment, very quiet surroundings, like a hotel made for a wedding and similar events at the level.

Wonderful staff and quiet property nestled in the countryside. Minimal Wi-fi connectivity and on-site options, at least during the winter months, make this a bit more of a limited offering at that time.
