Labyrinth Traditional Houses

Leo and Nick made us feel welcome. The "cave home" suite was very unique in design. Breakfast was great. The view from the suite was impressive. Bus to Fira was easy.

The climb up to the suite was challenging but worth it once we got there. We visited late November, so most shops and restaurants in Pyrgos were closed for the season (not hosts' fault, obviously)

This is truly an exceptional gem. If you are looking to stay in the old style creek housing… It is located high on a hill in Pyrgos, and has views from the outside terrace of almost the entire island. Breakfast is included, and the staff, a family, could not be more helpful, welcoming, responsive, and attentive.

There was nothing we did not like, but if you’re looking to stay at a modern hotel, this is not the place for you.

Staying in a traditional house in Santorini is an unique experience by itself. And at Labyrinth Traditional Houses, everything is exceptional. The place is very clean and the location is amazing. You can see the sunset, eat breakfast or dinner right on your own private terrace. The hosts are very friendly, helping you will all the details, like booking sailing tours or renting cars. And they can even cook you a traditional dinner, which was excellent. Best wishes to Leo, Nick and their parents! About logistics - we had the one bedroom house. The house has two bathrooms, one having a door and the other a thick opaque curtain. So you shouldn't be worried about privacy issues. There is hot water 24/7 and pressure is always good. There is AC, but because the house is made of thick, it keeps a good temperature (~22C) both during day and night, and you don't really need to turn the AC on. But you can if you want.

Breakfast was a typical continental style served on our delightful roof top terrace. It consisted of fruit, yogurt, juice, bead and the choice of eggs however you wanted them cooked. It was served anytime between 0900-1100.

Nothing at all it was all rustic authentic and exactly as you would expect on a fabulous Greek island.

Much care - and hard labour and love - has gone into sensitively converting traditional housing in old Pyrgos so as to meet modern travellers’ and holidaymakers’ expectations -

This is such a lovely traditional place to stay. It's quiet and the view from the terrace is beautiful, especially at sunset. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the bus stop is not far. The staff are super helpful and friendly too. The beds are so comfortable and the house was spacious.
