It’s so close to restaurants, shops, nature and the main road but tucked away that it is peaceful, lush and quiet. There’s only 4 villas at this place facing the pool and beautiful palm trees that it feels like you’re in your own private paradise. The staff are kind and friendly and treated me like I was a part of the family in my 5 weeks there. Even the pup that waited for me outside my door in the morning or when I came home in the evenings was adorable. They were always so compassionate and caring and I’ll definitely come back again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Valley Green Cottage! It is so peaceful and serene. Embeded in nature. After almost a month of traveling in Bali that is exactly whay I was looking for. Away from the main road but still close to the beach and nice restaurants. Rooms are quiet and I slept sooo well there. The owner and family where very kind and helpful. I got to chose which balinese style breakfast I wanted. Banana pancakes and coffee :) I even got a extra fruit plate one afternoon and it was a lovely surprise! The location is good for exploring both east and west of the island or to take a snorkeling tour around to the south island.

There is nothing I didn't like. The guest house is some years old and has its quirks. Nothing that bothered me the slightest. Good value with a private room for a modest price.
