Americas Best Value Inn Chippewa Falls

Hallways stink, blankets were dirty and small pieces of garbage all over the floor, toilet seat was broke off and on bathroom floor, paid for a king and got a double queen instead,middle of a remodel so construction debry all over inside and out.

When we first arrived, we thought the place was closed. Parking lot was full of weeds and the area around the motel looked abandoned. We went to the motel next door and they told us it was actually open so we went back and entered the lobby area. The front desk person welcomed us and said they had just reopened and only one wing of the building was ready. Surprisingly, the pool was open. Rooms were clean and everything was functional.

Desk person was in the darkened reception area picking up debris. He was polite and greeted us. We checked in and walked through darkened halls. We came upon the Pool area also dark. The door was locked. This motel did not appear to be open for guests. We walked back through the dark hallways to the reception area. We cancelled our room and looked for a motel that appeared to be open. We slept comfortably after using the pool area. We will never even think of going to American Value and will warn others. We tried to contact Booking.com on the phone number provided but could not get a live person to speak with. We would like a refund for this disaster.

Could not check in for our reservation at this establishment and got a room else where. No one at desk and no way to contact anyone for service.

Didn’t look like the pictures. Smelly. Nice staff. Kind of clean…

It wa ok. The television coices were not great. And thr breakfast was very scant.

Tv didnt work, lamp shades were ripped, no door handle on bathroom. It was a bed to sleep on but cant say much more. Would not stay again.
