Fantastic ambiance and vibe... Mixed with heritage and ghostly stories!

Great history and atmosphere.

Food in pub was poor and breakfast was average.

Slightly expensive but worth every penny. You will love the feeling of the old building and whatever might come with it. The stories are great and wandering around after hours raises the hairs on your neck! We enjoyed the music until close and being able to just go to bed in the pub is a fun experience.

Great location, spooky as promised. Great live music and lovely bar.

The full English on the first day was poor, greasy and cheap ingredients. The second day the staff made us eggs and bacon on toast and that was lovely .

Loved the sloping room along with decor and furniture, it was like stepping back to olden times, although very clean and comfortable.

We visited when works were ongoing for new toilets, which meant breakfast wasn't available. Will have to try again.
