Quality Inn at Albany Mall

The staff was polite both day and night, The cleaning though?? You can tell the person who cleans has never been taught. The bathroom toilet has a ring, corners are not cleaned, floor in shower wasn't cleaned just sprayed, mildew, poop bugs flying around after shower water hits drain. The rooms need a makeover both cleaning and repair. A frog, snake or something could crawl through door. If it had not been for an emergency I'd left.

I would generally rate the hotel rooms two out of five. The rooms were not extremely clean. I did find hairs on the towel. Floor seems rather sticky. Fridge seem like it was never defrosted as ice was built up. I did wipe the phone, tables, and remote, before using. Most of the customers seem to be handymen worker types who come with big trucks and take up all the parking spaces near the office. It seems that the hotel is renting to low income individuals in the rear. This is just an assumption based on the type of people walking back and forth from the back daily. I also saw roaches in my room and was a little bit alarmed. However the housekeeping came and sprayed and nobody seemed alarmed or offered me any discount or anything so I assume they're very used to that. Why I would still stay again? Because it's probably the better option in that price range and they do have a decent breakfast however no meat options. They also have a workable gym with a treadmill and a lot of free weight dumbbell options. I believe they have ongoing maintenance as I saw lots of material stacked in the back. Their main ice maker doesn't work either. They are and a convenient location in the mall. They'll keep in mind that the mall is declining in some stores are abandoned or closed.

Liked the area but didn’t like the roaches in the room or the hair all in the shower that wasn’t properly cleaned.

My room was nice, but the bed pillows could have been more comfortable.

My neighbors could have been a bit quieter, but overall, pleasant stay.
