Coastal Inn - Kingfisher

No garden view. Other guests were loud. Located on main road. Lamps too bright.

Great place to stay in Digby on night one. Spent a day touring the Digby arm peninsula and staying the second night in preparation to catch the ferry to St. John the next day. Very helpful staff who gave us tips on sightseeing the Digby arm.

No complaints.

Das Hotel liegt Verkehrsgünstig und war für eine Nacht auf unserer Reise gut. Das Hotel wurde zur Zeit Renoviert, und wir haben ein Zimmer bekommen, welches zwar Renoviert, aber leider noch nicht Fertig war. An den Betten fehlte die Beleuchtung. Die gesamte Hotelanlage sah doch sehr nach Baustelle aus, und überall lagen ausgediente Komponenten aus den bereits Renovierten Zimmern herum. Der ausblick aus unserem Zimmer ging auf einen Teil des Hotels wo ausgediente Klimaanlagen herumlagen, und das Bild doch sehr störten. Das hat den Gesamteindruck etwas nach unten gezogen. Wir habe jedoch gut geschlafen und das war OK. Das Frühstück war nicht üppig, aber Landestypisch und OK. Es gab auch keine Plastikteller und Besteck zum Frühstück, was wir sehr gut und nachhaltig fanden.

Convenient and accessible to food and grocery. Although the breakfast items are basic without hot items, the selection and quality is good (including fruit packs) and exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

There’s no handheld shower but most properties don’t offer this anyway and this property is not out of the ordinary

The breakfast was all bread and bagels and some cereal/ juices! Maybe try adding donuts or muffins? Individual cheese packages? Bananas or apples?

There was no table in the room. No where to eat from. If they would of wall mounted the TV then maybe you could have sit down by the desk but with the TV taking up the space of the desk no where to sit your laptop. The room was small for a KING suite. Mattress was dated with fallen sides when you sit on it. Coffee maker the shits. Tiny little paper, plastic cups (6 oz). Perhaps with alittle more added 'thoughts' to the room, might be okay?

Breakfast was sparse. Toast and coffee mainly. Not hot Food

Room was recently renovated but the new toilet was leaking pools of water in the bathroom. The mattress was still the old ragged one. There were no reading lights for the bed and the overhead room light was an annoying cool blue LED. Charge for Pets was $20 per pet per night regardless of declined daily room cleaning.
