Coastal Inn - Kingfisher

This is an older, dated hotel in various buildings and 1 or two levels on the property. See pics. Staff were friendly. Rooms were not sound proofed. Large dump truck backed in and idled for 30 minutes our 2nd night. I secured the bathroom window with the coffee tray. Need update $$$ to be spent. Breakfast was in a nice little nook, very simple. Toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit cups, coffee was good. Nice local rtisans stained glass for sale. We bought a bunch.

Not enough cutlery in kitchenette

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was a nice unexpected added bonus. Overall great value for money.

The only thing could be a coat of paint on the outside of the doors to the rooms….. but that’s being very picky.

Nice staff, good located as base camp for whale watching on the islands

The bed was a folding bed. Very uncomfortable. Very thin walled. You hear everything from the neighbours.

Next to a great Thia restaurant

Not safe. Doors are wide open and the property is tucked in back. Get a room up front if you can.

There was people partying outside our door and no security to prevent it very disappointing

It was clean and accommodated our needs. Reasonably priced.

Das Frühstück war gut, alles wurde rechtzeitig nachgefüllt. Wir haben ein relativ ruhiges Zimmer gehabt, wei wir darum gleich beim Einchecken gebeten haben. Alles hat im Zimmer funktioniert und die Lage hat uns gefallen, weil Schnellrestaurant und Supermarkt zu Fuß erreichbar sind und der Marsch ins Zentrum auch gut zu bewältigen war.

Ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, die Tür hatte einen breiten Spalt.
