Hotel Casabela

The hotel and location are beautiful. Our room was great with a wonderful view. We walked down to the beach and the grounds were lovely. It was too chilly for the pool but it's nice to have when it's warmer. The breakfast choices were plentiful.

The key was enormous! Not a big deal but a bit of a pain to carry around.

Breakfast was very good, didn’t get to use the pool or walk to the beach via steps.

Nice hotel, just feels a little ‘dated’. I think the rooms need a refresher.

Tolle ruhige Lage über dem Meer, Meerblick, direkter Fußweg an einen ruhigen Strandabschnitt, Strand mit netten Restaurants und Bars, teils mit Musikangebot. Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter im Hotel.

Einfallsloses Frühstück minderer Qualität , entspricht nicht einem 4-Sterne-Standard, hier ist eindeutig noch „Luft nach oben“!

Hotel mit Stil. Tolle Lage mit Garten bis zum Strand.

Das Abendessen konnte nur im Schichtbetrieb eingenommen werden. 19.Uhr und 19.30 war sogenannt "ausgebucht" Als wir um 20 Uhr essen durften, waren die schönen Tische am Fenster bereits teilweise wieder leer. Aber die Kellner waren zu faul dort für uns wieder auf zu tischen. Wiesen uns einen hinteren Tisch an. Das Essen überzeugte auch nicht. Also besser auswärts essen. Das Frühstück war ausser dem Kaffee recht. Es ist beschämend dass ein sog. 4 Stern Hotel keine anständige Kaffeemaschine anschafft.

The overall design of the hotel is beautiful, it’s quaint and warm in character and the sea view was excellent. Breakfast and especially dinner were notably good and the rooms were quiet. The access to the beach was wonderful too.

A little thing, but the balcony was slightly smaller than ideal. The matressess wasn’t as comfortable as in other hotels and the bathroom had a shower over the bath, which worked perfectly well, but a walk in shower would have been preferable for us. The hotel is a 30 minute walk away from Ferragudo, but that’s the price of staying at a tranquil peaceful place.

Situation, vue sur la mer et sur le jardin, chambre vaste et literie très confortable. Nous avons apprécié le prêt gracieux d'un fer à repasser. Bon petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix malgré des soucis de fraîcheur. Repas du soir correct mais sans plus.

Personnel distant et sans convivialité, bon petit déjeuner mais les jus de fruits et la salade de fruit manquaient de fraîcheur et avait un goût de fermentation. Pour un tel niveau de prix, on aurait aimé un peu plus d'attention et de contrôle de la qualité des ingrédients du petit déjeuner.
