McMenamins Elks Temple

Having had my second stay here, I can state that my first excellent experience was not a fluke. It's a great place to stay. I attended a metal show at the Temple Theatre, and that was just a short walk away.

Friendly and helpful staff. Food and drinks were served in a timely manner. My room was next to the “secret hallway”, had fun at the “secret bar” The Vault.

No private parking. Had to pay to park a few blocks away from hotel.

Great place to stay. Price was great and the room was great.

Had breakfast delivered to the room, all the different levels of entertainment, and the secret locations were fun. The flights of different beers/whiskeys/ciders

Prices were a little high for hotel on Saturday, so we picked a different night to stay and enjoyed our selves just the same. We'll come back though

Staying here was an excellent experience. I saw Italian Gothic metal band Lacuna Coil perform at the Spanish Ballroom which is part of the hotel complex. The complex also houses a bottle shop and a number of bars/restaurants. The staff are courteous and helpful, and everything is very clean. I had a fine breakfast at one of the restaurants before leaving.

Historic, clean, walkable. Staff was incredible in helping fix an issue caused by an ex-employee.

No criticism.

Highly recommend this location, fun interactive environment and excellent staff. We will return for more adventures at finding all the hidden locations and bars.

If I had to comment about one thing, it didn’t like it was how dark the stairways were too the rooms. Lighting could’ve been better for safety purposes.
