Our car parking is extremely small, so only Hatchbacks and Small Sedans will be accommodated. SUVs, UTEs, vans, and any larger vehicles will not be accommodated due to size restrictions. The reception team can assist you with alternative parking sites near the hotel. All credit cards, international debit cards, and PayWave will incur a 2% surcharge. New Zealand EFTPOS cards or cash do not incur any surcharge. Due to health & safety reasons and emergency protocols, we do not allow any rooms with more than 4 guests at a time, including visitors. "Left in the dark!!"

The facilities were fine but my whole experience was soured.

They informed me when I checked in they were scheduled to turn the power off overnight for maintenance. I use a sleeping aid that requires electricity but was assured I wouldn't be affected. Just after I went to sleep I was woken because the power went off. I contemplated getting dressed to find out what was going on but of the the elevators weren't working, I was on the 6th floor, and they hadn't supplied torches to guests. This outage lasted about 10 minutes while a generator took over. When it swapped back in the morning I was in the shower, suddenly in complete darkness. There was no mention of compensation or anything. They should have advised booked guests in advance, something I suggested for an apparent second outage on the 21st. The manager looked at me like I was crazy. No idea of customer service.

Location's great. Close to clubs and restaurants but also really quiet

Hotel parking is terrible. The parks are really small and tight to navigate
