Papa Sun Villas

Amazing staff, very friendly with us and our baby who played in the reception area searching for everything. Nice pool and big garden. Good breakfast, freshly made every day. I didn't even had to say I am awake, when they saw us, they were imediately coming with coffee and breakfast. Clean and spatious bungalow.

The open bathroom was a bit rusty and there was urine smell coming from it. Curtains in the bungalow were a bit old and dusty.

The property was located near some great little local restaurants. Our room was fresh and clean, the outdoor shower was clean and had great water pressure. The property was also equipped with everything we needed (AC, fridge, fresh towels).

Only issue we had during our stay is that it was difficult to locate the property, perhaps new signs are needed? Other than that, we have no complaints!

staff tried to be friendly

I cannot understand the positive reviews people have left in the last months. The „villas“ look very different than the pictures. Finding the accommodation was the initial struggle since the hotel sign was damaged and lying in a ditch. The first thing the staff told us was that water incl. toilet couldn’t be used for two hours. Once in the rooms, we immediately felt uncomfortable. There were rusty pipes, moldy walls and damaged vanity/ bathroom faucets (see pictures). We tried getting a refund, but were told due to the managements policy nothing could be done. Booking.com was kind enough to refund partially.

The pool was amazing, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Very good breakfast and the bed was comfortable.

The staff was amazing! They were very warm and welcoming and helpful with our bookings. The accommodation was beautiful. With the nice swimming pool and the cute cottages around it, it was a beautiful view. The cottages were very nice and bright and the aircon made a perfect temperature. The beds were very comfy and I liked the interior of the cottage. The bathroom was outside but we actually liked that. The accommodation is very well maintained and you see they put a lot of effort into it. The accommodation is based in the north of the island, close to a food night market and a good location to see the entire island.
