The Post Hotel

Location, bed, bathroom.

There was a gym under the building and from 5 am on I heard load bass beat, very annoying. Also in the second room we had at night 2/24 there was an annoying drip, drip sound after it had rained.

Reasonably priced. Was quiet the whole night for me. Plenty of space. Bed linen was nice and clean. Good pillows. Car park was a bit odd but once I found my way around was all good.

Having to steal cords from other rooms to make the heater work because the cable doesn't reach the power point - which took forever to do anything. Wouldn't want to be there in winter. Skirtings were filthy. Hadn't been cleaned in probably over a year - not reassuring about other areas. Still food on one of the forks when I grabbed it out. Curtains were all tattered and wrinkled and hard to reach behind the couch. Rooms were very dark. Please put a whole heap more bright lights in. Colour scheme was weird. No wall outlet for one of the bedside lamps so couldn't use one of them. The place just didn't feel or smell clean. Had a odd smell to it.

The location was good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Check in was easy. It was good that there was a lift to get to the upper floors.

There was nowhere to hang clothes so we had to use the back of the chairs. The extremely loud music coming from the nearby gym woke everyone up around 6 O'Clock on Saturday morning and it was impossible to get back to cleep. The parking (which was in the shopping centre car park was very confusing if you arrived during the week.

The location was good for what I came to Wellington for. Parking was good as well. Could see my car from the room I was staying in.

Not much, maybe it’s location was ok

It was a hot box, we couldn’t open the windows very much and the noise from the night club and the gym below was terrible. Small rooms main bedroom had no air flow at all even with the three fans in the unit. Saw no staff at all and the whole instructions of picking up the keys, parking the car etc were strange at best. it was very disappointing and we would not stay here again.

Didn't know there was any available! Enjoyed the stay and handy to most things. Nice and clean. A small tip; Have a shelf and hooks in corner by shower for clothes, etc.

Getting access to building. Hard for the first time; Wouldn't want to do it at night.
