We booked this guesthouse at 16:50 to arrive at 17:00 when we had to change our plans for the night because of the weather. Within 10 minutes we had been sent the code to the key safe and we were inside. Everything was spotlessly clean, and it was very well organised. The kitchen was well equipped, with plenty of tea towels, etc. The beds were really comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep. For a last minute booking, with no research done before hand, I feel really lucky. It isn’t a luxury property but it was exactly what we needed for the night.

The only downside was that there is only one front door key, shared between three downstairs rooms. So you need to remember to put it back in the key safe as soon as you open the door, and hope everyone else does too.

J'ai trouvé le prix honereux par rapport au reste des nuitées de l'Islande. (Peut-être que c'est l'offre et la demande du secteur) Un wc seulement dans la SDB pour 3 chambres... (Mais ce n' est pas le seul guest house configuré comme ca) Chambre plutôt petite...

La posizione comoda all'interno del fiordo, una vista bellissima. Camera di dimensioni accettabili, bagno condiviso per tre camere okay.

The common areas were very nice and accommodated our group. The wool socks available were awesome and the contact was extremely responsive and help when we had to reach out to her. I would not hesitate in recommending this as a place to stay for others.

There was some confusion on front door key with the other guests. It would have been good if we could have had our group accommodated onto a single floor but we decided to get together on one of the common areas since there was one on each floor.

Our host Stephanie was extremely helpful with our late checkin. She shared advice on places to visit.

A great little house, cosy and with everything you need. A lovely town. Can recommend.

Laat in de middag geboekt, maar er was nog plek. We waren de enige gasten, waardoor we de badkamer en keuken niet hoefden te delen. Mooi uitzicht op het fjord.
