Nilaveli Beach Rooms

The family who run the home stay and restaurant were absolutely amazing- so kind and helpful and gave us great recommendations for scuba diving and nearby bars. The food in the restaurant was all home cooked and delicious!

De prijskwaliteit verhouding was goed. De mensen waren vriendelijk en we konden buiten zitten tegenover beplanting.

Er waren bouwactiviteiten voor een nieuw huisje. Dit zal echter snel klaar zijn omdat er erg hard gewerkt werd!

Location was good and had cold beer in case you need at 800rupee.

Most unfriendly staff, not even a hello or goodbye. The door had a huge space at the bottom part inviting all the insect to come in, including mosquitos. The mosquito net was really unconfortable laying on the top of the bed, so mosquitos will bite you anyway. No hot water and wifi didnt work well

Everything. We were there in the off season, most restaurants were closed including To Restaurant on the premises. However, they still cooked for us, and was that amazing food! The brother has a tuk-tuk and will drive you for excellent rates. Best chill place in Sri Lanka so far

Ambiente sencillo y natural, una nevera a nuestra disposición fuera del bungalow, las chicas siempre muy agradables

El alojamiento está bastante bien, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta el precio, que es muy económico. Está en una zona muy cercana a la playa, con habitaciones correctas y un porche agradable donde relajarse. El personal es muy amable y, por un pequeño suplemento, preparan un desayuno delicioso y abundante.

Lo único negativo fue que encontramos una cucaracha en el baño. Entiendo que a veces es difícil de evitar, pero fue el único lugar en todo Sri Lanka donde nos ocurrió. Probablemente se debía a que en el baño había algunos huecos en la pared que daban al jardín, por donde podían entrar insectos. Además, por la noche escuchamos ruidos como de ratas moviéndose dentro de la pared o el techo (no dentro de la habitación, que estaba limpia). No fue agradable, aunque no afectó directamente a nuestro descanso. En general, es un sitio con muy buena relación calidad-precio, ideal para estancias sencillas cerca de la playa.

For the price we paid, this property was awesome, and you cannot complain. Location is walking distance to the beach 😄 Lovely staff.

I think when you consider the price, you have to keep your expectations real. The property was clean, good location, and priced very well. You will not be getting a luxury soft bed...but you are not paying for that ..so for it's price range, it was outstanding value.
