N'ista Boutique Rooms Birkdale - Southport

We stayed at this accommodation overnight having attended a function at the nearby Royal Birkdale golf club which was just over 5 minutes away. The decor in the room was very good, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and on a cold day the heating within the room was really appreciated. The communication by the owner Ian was first class, as was the help shown by the staff member who met us and took us to the room, off road parking was available at the pub opposite the accommodation. Although not serving food that evening we had suggested to us to try the "Coast restaurant" which was 20 meters away, we were glad we did as the food was first class as was the service. We would definitely like to return and stay here again in the future to explore the area in better weather and would totally recommend staying at the Nista Boutique Rooms, great value for the price paid.

The room was good, it met our expectations. Given the weather outside was very wet and windy, the room was warm and we were able to dry off quickly. It was cosy and modern. We had everything there that we needed for the night's stay. In the morning, we eat in the cafe/restaurant and enjoyed the food/service.

Although cosy, there wasn't lots of space in the room. The layout was corridor like, so not lots of space to store luggage, etc. It took time for the hot water to kick in, esp via the sink. It did work in the end, but it was a struggle to have a quick wash via the sink.

Location is great just by Birkdale station. Staff were helpful.

I didn’t appreciate the ragged carpet on the stairs from the doorway on entry. Worn entrance key pad needs to be replaced for safety of guests. I was in room 4. Very small. I think this is really just a single room rather than having a double bed. Very claustrophobic . Not enough shelves in the bathroom to put toiletries. More hooks needed for towels. No conditioner in the dispenser in the bathroom. The water in the shower runs very hot. I had to step past dirty linens at the foot of the stairs on some days. Most hotels do at least put these into laundry bags. Kept awake at night by a low noise… maybe from the heating system. I wouldn’t rebook.

Il check-in avviene all’interno del bar sottostante alle camere che in serata e’ chiaramente pieno di gente. Il letto molto molto scomodo, 2 letti singoli attaccati, morbidi che convergevano al centro creando una fossa. E’ stato impossibile dormire.
