Captain Howey Hotel

Lovely clean studio apartment which had everything we needed. The bed was very comfy.

No TV in the lounge 😕 There is room for a small table and chairs if the sofa is moved .

Fair enough for the price.

It advertises itself as a restaurant, but it didn’t function on a Tuesday. This was mildly irritating but far more important was the fact that the main door was locked when I wanted to leave. There was no one about and I found my way out through a back door. There was a sign saying: “Smile you’re on cctv”, as if I had chosen to go out this way. The fire risk is obvious.

Great location.

Room was very hot, no fan or air-conditioning present. No spaces for us to park either which made things harder especially being registered disabled and having to park so far away.

Friendly and helpful staff, quiet room with full kitchen. Extremely comfortable bed with access to the adjoining pub.

Not keen on having to use the fire escape steps when the pub was shut, bathroom was fine but towels too small and thin
