Location was excellent, lovely view and great spot to watch sunrise and sunset, close to the beach, shops/restaurants and easy access to other areas of Port Stephens. Super comfy king size bed, great shower

Cleaning good have been a little better. It was obvious the balcony hadn't been swept in quite a while, cobwebs on balcony railing and one side of the 2 seater chair had two cracked slats.

The location is great. There are a number of cafes and restaurants close to the apartment. Waling distance to shoal bay beach. Wonderful view from the balcony.

It was very much a no frills stay - cheap linen, literally two teabags a dish towel and liquid in a ziplock bag, no hairdryer or toiletries, a broken lounge chair on the balcony, no batteries in the remote control... Really felt the difference from an Airbnb in the lack of loving attention. Some quirky decorating choices, every inch of wall space was covered in “beach, sand, ahoy” decor, with a rather garish red plastic cross. This is the first time I have booked on booking.com and had a complicated / tedious amount of paperwork and payment hoops to jump through. Despite providing payment details at the time of booking, I was required to call the property office to pay the second instalment directly. I then had to submit a very intense amount of ID documentation ahead of check in - phone numbers of each guest, copy of card, licence etc. To be honest it really turned me off. Life is busy enough and a vacation is meant to be a rest, not more work! Finally, the cleanliness wasn't up to scratch - I found dirty socks and piles of sand under the couch, and when I got the spare blanket out of the cupboard in the bedroom it had stains on it.

Beautiful Apartment,Amazing View of Shoal Bay. Would recommend this to anyone, comfortable beds.
