Desert Palms Hotel & Suites

Everything about the Desert Palms was about as good as I dare hope for in a hotel these days. The desk people were friendly (and kid-friendly) and efficient, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the (included) breakfast was fabulous in variety, quality, and we enjoyed the spacious and comfortable rooftop patio. All of the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. There is also a "restaurant" in the lobby of the hotel where you can either eat there or do take-out. Service and hospitality were fine, food was okay. High marks for convenience and efficiency, but not quite as high of marks for the quality of the food; not terrible but not stellar. There are other options nearby. The pool was pleasantly heated, and the pool and hot tub were clean. My grandkids loved it. My wife and I hadn't been to Disneyland for about 25 years. The service and location (short walk to Disney parks) of the hotel made our return more manageable and alleviated some of our concerns. The hotel also was helpful in arranging shuttle service to and from the airport, and also to other nearby destinations. It is likely a place that we will go back to . Good value and pretty top notch all the way around.

If you’re looking for a great affordable hotel for your trip to Disneyland with your family, this is it. It’s one big block (8 minute walk) to Disneyland. Great hot and cold breakfast included with lots of options - eggs, sausages, yogurt, waffles, fruit and cereal. Yes, the hotel is dated but it’s clean and everyone is friendly. Takeaway food options and chemist across the road. 7/11 downstairs so you can pack your snacks and lunch for your big day. We got the room with the extra lounge space and it was perfect for a family of 4. Oh, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! Highly recommend!

The staff was friendly and it was cleaned. 10 minute walk to Disneyland and free breakfast.

Amazing clean rooms. Walking distance to parks which was very convenient at end of the day. I left an item behind after checkout and they kindly mailed it back to me.

Breakfast was great should have kept potatoes for every day but overall really good quality of food. Beds, pillows, and blankets you could tell were cheap wish those were more quality woke up with knots and cold. The AC after a while would turn off when we would come back we wish it stayed on the whole time keeping it comfortable to our liking. Everything else was awesome !

Great for kids. Walkable to and from Disneyland. I would choose this hotel again if we’re back to Disneyland.

Love this Hotel! Clean, friendly, helpful, delicious food in restaurant, close walking to Disneyland! Close to 7-11 and multiple shops and restaurants.

I’ve been staying here for years, every time we come down to Disneyland. Staff is wonderful , so clean and breakfast every morning included.

This was a great hotel, everyone was incredibly nice and respectful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only complaints are the TV would not work and need maintenance a few times. Also, the back rooms of the pool courtyard were very loud until the pool closed.
