"Pines Suites"

My husband and I came to the Pines resort for a couples getaway. We stayed at the pines Suits. We enjoyed our stay very much. We loved the beautiful lake view, and walking by the waters edge. We enjoyed duceys restaurant as well as a few others around the area. Also we liked the hiking and drive around the lake!!!

The cabin was lovely and rustic and had great facilities for everything we needed during the stay. Lovely surroundings with shop, bars and restaurants on site too. The staff also done a great job of keeping all the roads clear from the heavy snow. We were charged the full amount at check in although we had already pre-paid but this was sorted out straight away by the reception staff- just be aware.

"Tired"

There were a lot of items broken in the cabin. The maintenance people didn't have a fix for bulbs that were out, heaters that freeze up(it was snowing), fan lights that are broken, heater piece that had been torn off. The cabin really needed a cleaning, there were a lot of basic cleaning things missed. The microwave was falling out of a cabinet not made for it at all. Pans were missing in the kitchen. This cabin needed someone to go through it and take care of these issues. The area is beautiful but the property is tired. The staff at check in here excellent. I think this is a case of owners not spending the money necessary to keep the place up and no overseeing of cleaning or maintenance. It's too bad.

asked for a room with a fireplace and texted the resort and when i checked in they did not provide one. Also they did not recognize my VIP access and did not provide the courtesy bottle of wine

"Magical, cozy stay"

This was our very first trip to Bass Lake and my husband and I could not have loved it more! We stayed in chalet #117 with our two dogs and were very comfortable with a slight lake view. Every single person we encountered at the resort was so nice and happy to help. In five days, we ate at every restaurant at least once, and it was all so good. Loved hanging out at the Pines Bar. We were so lucky to see lots of snow in town and in Yosemite. We also saw tons of wild animals including a mama bear and two cubs on site. It was a magical experience, exactly what we were hoping for. We can’t wait to go back!
