The Joy Beach Villas

The villas are beautiful and the area is great (calm but lifely), the beach is nice and the manager is incredibly helpful

Our room was lovely, and the whole property was amazing with direct acccess to the beach, a perfect place to watch the sunset.

The property is pretty and the host was nice. Be aware - the office closes at 5pm, so you have to check in between 2pm and 5pm or pay an extra fee. The room is spacious and clean and comfortable. One thing I missed - totally my fault - is that there is no tv anywhere in any of the rooms. If you like to chill in the evening and watch something, you're out of luck here. Beach is pretty to look at and the views are nice, but it isn't a good swimming beach.

Be very careful when booking here at Booking.com. We booked a 'Villa with Sea View'. When we arrived, we were put in a room back in the garden with the name 'GV1' - aka Garden View 1. I inquired immediately and showed my reservation from Booking, but they were insistent that we booked a garden view room. There is only 1 sea front villa and it was booked, and they don't even seem to think they have a 'sea view' category. We had paid WAY too much to be back in the garden. In addition, the sea here is muddy, murkey and smelly. I wish I'd read more reviews of the beach itself before booking because it is not a good swimming beach. Anyway, they offered to refund us if we left immediately, so we packed up, found another place on Haad Yao beach (a gorgeous beach, we later learned) and left. Definitely not the start to any holiday you want, so buyer beware.

Emplacement ideal près de la plage, Boulangerie et 7/11 juste en face. Restaurants sympa a quelques minutes a pieds. Chambre nickel, personnel très amiable et services a dispo comme taxi. Laverie a quelques metres de l’hôtel. Je recommande ++
