Quality Inn Merced Gateway to Yosemite

The location was close to where I needed to be

The Bathroom was a little small and claustrophobic. Our remote control for the television did not power on. The toilet was slow to flush. Also they advise a breakfast which is very scarce and basically self serve. Was not provided on one day.

The fact that they agreed to refund me after cockroaches were discovered, which was immediately after walking thru the door.

The rooms are dirty and dingy, they smell like smoke and there are bugs. Terrible experience.

The bed was cozy and warm and the room was clean! Good breakfast and very friendly staff!

The staff and facility were very good.

I stayed 2 nights and got no rest. Night one there were some men fighting all night long myself and others talked about how bad it was at the breakfast section. The second night someone was playing music extremely extremely loud till very late.There is no security on the premises to come check on this kind of thing. I have never been more tired than this trip because of the lack of rest.

There was a hot breakfast

Location, reasonable price, free breakfast, free parking, has refrigerator and free WIFI. We had a very bad room on the first night which we will state later. The good thing is that the front desk staff was helpful in providing us a new room without questions.

On the first night, we had a very bad room. Nothing in that room worked well. late at night around 12:00 midnight, a dog was barking in the next room. When we complained about it, the front desk knocked on their door but no one responded. We had to put up with the dog parking until it finally stopped. We were surprised that dogs are allowed to stay at the hotel. This can be very disruptive when they start barking and annoying the other guests. Regarding the breakfast, they no longer serve a full breakfast as they did earlier in the year. Now they only serve continental breakfast and they are always out of food even when it first opens up in the morning. Furthermore, the elevator was NOT working which is very inconvenient when you have luggage to haul up and down the stairs.
