Place d'Armes Hotel

We love going to NOLA and we especially love staying at Place d’Arms. This was our 7th time to visit the Crescent City and our 4th consecutive stay at Pd’A. Can you say FAVORITE for both ?!! The hotel is the epitome of the French Quarter and its location there seems perfect. It is quaint and, at the same time, luxurious — beautiful windows and doors, courtyards, pool, and fountains. On quiet St Anne St. within short walking distance are iconic French Qtr must see places —- Bourbon St, Royal St, St Louis Cathedral & Jackson Square, Carriage rides, Cafe DuMonde, The Mississippi, French Market, the RTA Trolley and on and on… Hungry ?? Walk to our favorites — Muriel’s, Gumbo Shop, Court of Two Sisters, Cafe DuMonde, The Stanley, Pat O’Brien’s, Tujague’s and more. And have I mentioned the Pd’A people ?! Friendly, southern hospitality is in their genes ! They happily do everything they can to make your stay one you won’t forget ! I hope you can see why our favorites should be yours as well.

We loved our overnight visit here. The courtyard is very cute. Would be great for a group with places to sit around and visit. It was the perfect location for us. Once we parked which was easy & $47.00 , we could walk to Bourbon Street, Cafe Du Monde, Jackson Square, Hop on Hop off buses, Carriage Rides, River, Etc. The bed was very comfortable. All the employees were very friendly & helpful. If we ever come back to NOLA we'll definately stay here.

Once you walk beyond the front office you are in a beautiful old world elegance. Simple beauty. The courtyard is just wonderful to sit in. Pool was lovely. We sat out on one of the public balconies and it was so fun. We could have spent many more hours enjoying it but we needed to be tourists and see New Orleans! The place is so comfortable and accommodating. Staff was beyond pleasant!! The parking worked out so conveniently. The location was fantastic. An easy walk to the craziness of Bourbon Street but removed, quieter. Always felt safe as there were always people as it is between Bourbon and Jackson Square which was beautiful. Just a great area! Next time we go to NOLA, we will definitely stay here!!

Great hotel, a little cleaning issues, also if you guys offer complimentary breakfast, nothing big just something with the coffee it'd be great.

Staff was wonderful , court yard is beautiful

I believe this is more of expedias fault but I paid extra for our stay with a balcony and when we arrived we were placed in a room that was small with no balcony. What you pay is not what you get and I am very disappointed with Expedia as well

We had such a good time there. The place is beautiful and we loved the courtyard! We originally picked it for the parking and are so glad we did. We didn't even need the car because of its convenient location. I will definitely be back. The staff are kind and so helpful. The rooms are beautiful and lets not forget the history of the place. If you are unaware, don't worry, a ghost tour will be along any moment now. LOL Enjoy!! We did!

Our room was clean. We booked the windowless one (keep cost down) and there is technically a window just at the bottom of the wall which was fine. It did face straight onto the Main Street so at night it could get loud as we were next to the lift which was also loud at times. During the stay our AC machine stopped working and Rody swooped our Roma straight away to a courtyard room at the back which was beautiful and less quiet. The last night a ghost tour did come in and during there talk they were very loud when we were trying to sleep for an early flight. The hotel its self was in a fantastic location in the French quarter and all the staff were so lovely especially Rody! Would defiantly book here again if visiting New Orleans

Very different type of hotel. It takes u back in time. The decor followed the French Quarter-theme.Room was spacious. Bed was comfortable!
