Hotel St. Marie

Location was great and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Added bonuses of fridge in room and nice coffee machine.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and I can't adequately express what a great little hotel this is, It is quintessential New Orleans from the rooms, to the food and courtyard. Next: the staff: Everyone from our first contact, the 3-11? bellman, front desk, bartender, little Cafe attendants, and the morning bellman were superb. Our last morning there a gentleman who worked in the kitchen I think saw me attempting to get my husband across the street in his wheelchair. He said "Let me help you". He pushed him across the intersection and into the little store we were trying to get to. Everyone was very helpful. My sister and I will be going to New Orleans in December and I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

This hotel is just steps away from Bourbon Street !

Staff was great, rooms were a good size, courtyard was a nice place to sit or cool off with the pool. The location in the French Quarter is also amazing. Half a block from Bourbon Street and you can't hear any of it from the room.

The bathrooms were quite small though very nice. One of the beds was extremely squeaky and they weren't the most comfortable though acceptable. We also had some ants around the window and on the counter below the tv despite being on the 5th floor.
