TRYP by Wyndham Köln City Centre

Not since my my parents decided "That HoJo up the road should be fine for just a night" 30 years ago have I stayed in a hotel where the room was so worn down, outdated, gross, and dissatisfying. I truly would have stayed in Bonn or somewhere further out for this conference instead had i known what I was signing up for.

Fan definitely helped with room temperature. Wish that there was a refrigerator in room.

Clean, comfortable no fuss with great location to train across the road.

I've been trying to get a copy of my receipt for a month now, and they still haven't sent it to me. I need to expense my trip for work and wasn't given a receipt when I checked out of the hotel (and forgot to request in my haste). I've called repeatedly and spoken to staff but have not yet received a copy of my receipt. Such a simple request! So frustrating!

Nothing fency. Standard 2 star hotel. No air condition. Hot rooms. Use a fan to cool the room. Would expect more

We originally planned to stay two nights but...,The room was worn. The carpet was worn and dirty. Maybe that’s why they had throw away slippers in the room. The room was very small. This hotel room cost me the most per night but, it was the most disagreeable of our entire trip to Germany. I would never recommend.

Good breakfast, quiet rooms, good location, great staff

Enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized rooms and good location close to main station. Breakfast was good. Highly recommended for short stayd

I required a room, whilst on business in Cologne, the hotel was close to the railway station, close to the centre, so met my needs. I am a regular visitor to Cologne so will consider using again
