An overall good experience

The property was ok, location not too bad, but the parking was a nightmare. We even had some damage to our rental car trying to get out of the underground parking area.

You can't polish a t*rd. While the staff is going out of their way to accommodate guests and help with usual and unusual incidents, the hotel itself urgently needs an update. No air conditioning in sweltering heat is unacceptable, especiy in an establishment 'proud' of its 4-star status. The only elevator was broken for over 36 hours during our stay. Anyone with mobility issues on upper floors must have been extremely inconvenienced.

very good reception the guy at the desk could speak very clear English, check-in was a dream. got tea and coffee, internet is simple to log in to. would recommend this hotel quite easy to find with sat nav.

Neighbourhood was sketchy. Night lock did not work. Room was clean but so dated that it dis not look clean.

We got a very friendly welcome at the front desk. The hotel is very well placed for sightseeing. The room we had, although clean was small and basic.

Perfect all around for a mini-trip. Close to the main station, yet quiet. Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Easy to get to, very close to central train station. Had no problem checking in 2 hours ahead of time which was great. Bedroom walls were dirty, as was the carpet. Had a nespresso coffee machine and tea and kettle. Free bottle of water was left in room each day which was nice.

Had an inner room which was very quiet. Room was large, but furnishings were dated and worn. Carpet was gross (thank goodness for the slippers provided) and mini fridge looked like it hadn't been wiped down in a year. No AC, but provided a fan to help with the afternoon heat. Good internet. Expected to see Mindy St. Claire in the hallway...

The hotel was not air conditioned. The staff gave me a fan to use. This helped some. I had to move out of my first room because of the noise.
