Little Palm Island Resort & Spa - A Noble House Resort

From the first pitiful bread service we wished we could have left. Our waitress was assigned at least 8 other tables. You needed a flair gun to have drinks refreshed or to remove dishes. We had four people celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Three opted for different cuts of steak. They were all over cooked and substandard. I had the lobster and was left wondering if it was even "legal sized". It was boiled without imagination and even left in the shell. John, the manager, interrupted our conversation and seemed to beg for approval. He should have clearly seen that we were being held hostage. The "sides" were nothing more than garnishment. Four cherry tomatoes and fragments of mushrooms. The shrimp appetizer may have included a single shrimp. Little Palm island is living off of it's former glory. We have immediately booked another great Keys' restaurant to wash this wholly unpleasant experience out of our mouth.

We spent $5000 per night at Little Palm Resort expecting a true luxury, private experience-but left feeling disappointed and frustrated. While the island only has 30 villas and promises exclusivity, that promise fell apart quickly. The resort allows non-guests to ferry in and use the dining facilities, which completely takes away from the private island atmosphere we were paying for. To make matters worse, no dining reservations are accepted, so even as paying guests, we often couldn’t get the table we wanted. Lunch service was extremely slow-there was no bartender, so servers were stuck making cocktails, causing long delays. The food lacked creativity, and the menu barely changed during our entire stay. When poor weather forced cancel of water activities, there were no alternative activities offered-no entertainment, no programming,no opt. For a resort of this caliber, that kind of lack of planning is unacceptable. Also, avoid Villa 2- it’s near the service area and can get noisy, which takes away from the peaceful island vibe. The villa was clean and comfortable, but nothing extraordinary. Staff were kind but clearly stretched thin. For the stunning setting and high price tag, we expected a world class experience. Sadly, Little Palm Island delivers on the visuals-not the service, exclusivity, or luxury you’d expect at this level bee wont be returning.

Great times at happy hour! Amazing resort, white sand, with plenty of dock space for our boat, plus our friend’s boat. Friendly staff, awesome menu with great views. Even a solid cigar selection! We are def looking forward to our next visit!!!

From the time you arrive at check in to the time you depart you feel as if you are on Fantasy Island. The ability to be unplugged for a few days while at the pool, or hearing the waves lap outside of your bungalow is what it is about. My wife and I have now gone back to back years and it has been much needed for us to just have a romantic getaway. The staff make it seem as if you are one of the only guests on the island. Spa services are great, room services are 5 star and the ability to have romantic turndown services including the ability to have your own outdoor copper tub for 2 under the stars was a one of kind experience. LPI is an exclusive island with exclusive service provided to each guest. Once in a lifetime opportunity for sure.

Little Palm Island Resort & Spa epitomizes the essence of an exclusive 6-star luxury resort – perfection in every aspect of the guest experience, from the accommodations with stunning ocean vistas, to food & beverage offerings, to the spa, and the gracious welcome and professionalism of the staff. The villas are spectacular with spacious multi-room interiors, and even larger outdoor spaces with decks and terraces, large hot tubes, and private beaches with fireplaces. The food was Michelin quality (a special shout out to JP – Jean Philippe – who supervises a fabulous food & beverage menu – not an easy task on a small island). The resort has a gorgeous spa, where my wife had a glorious deep tissue massage and, in her words, “the most amazing facial she has ever had” (a special thank you to Alexandria). And for animal lovers, observing the manatees and hand-feeding (approved foods) the adorable, but endangered Key Deer was a daily highlight. This is unquestionably the best luxury resort in Florida, and ranks amongst the best in the US.

Little Palm Island is the most amazing resort to unplug and get away. Five stars plus. The staff and the facilities are worth every penny. The food was exceptional and our suite was everything and more you would expect from a five-star resort. We'll definitely be back again.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve been to quite a few. An incredible tiny private tiny island in the Florida Keys. Be warned it’s very expensive but it’s also paradise! Book directly with hotel for best deal. We stayed for 2 nights but I think 3/4 would have been ideal.

I came down with a cold as we were headed to Little Palm. Despite being sick for half the trip, it was still a delightful time. Perfect environs, food, staff, and activities. Popping out to Key West for a day made the value of the island's tranquility clear.
