Econo Lodge Pearl - Jackson

The great rates, great pictures, and great location didn't mean diddly once I checked in. The grounds were unkept. The ice and vending machines were outside. I had no idea the rooms weren't interior until I got there. The pool was decent and kept but the room smelled like a mix of gym sneakers and dirty underwear. There was also a horrible patch job on the bathroom ceiling where apparently a toilet had fallen through from the room above. Although the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, I still can't recommend this hotel. Do yourself a favor, spend a few extra bucks and go to Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express which are right next door.

The hotel room had the toilet leaking when we walked in. There was a puddle in the bathroom from it and the carpet surrounding the bathroom and next to the bed were soaked from the water leaking. Very limited parking area. The complimentary breakfast was limited as well.

I stayed here for a ballgame. I was pleased with the room. It was a great price for the area. Pool is great, too. Staff was friendly and helpful. /convenient to trustmark ball park. I paid about one fifth what other parents paid to stay in pearl.

I wasnt exactly coming for leisure trip but the staff made it one. They were very nice and met my every need. I had called that Thursday to confirm since I had book through expedia and hadnt got a verfication. I explained I had no arrival time but could give maybe with hour. THey said no problem, Mrs H. we will go ahead an assign you a room number and it will be here for you. When we arrived it was and we were in our room within 5 mi nutes of arrival. We walked into fresh clean smelling rooms and very clean. There was plenty of linen to take care of two people with some left over which is a change. I will defintely make this my hotel stop next time I am in the area.

Non-smoking room reeked of smoke and had a stale atmosphere. The floor was rotting in the corner by the door. Don't expect a good breakfast (but plenty of places close to eat). Pool was green, and parking was very limited and very tight. Not recommended.
