Staff was wonderful- very friendly and always with a smile on their face :) Spacious, very clean room with a beautiful view over San Sebastian. Very good breakfast, not of greatest quality but diverse and tasty enough.

The location was a bit further from the city and pretty uphill which could be tough for some. There was a noisy street and a big building in the valley the hotel was overlooking that made a noisy sound (like a huge AC). The lightning in the room was pretty cold which (for me) is a problem in many hotels in Spain. And the light in the bathroom had a movement sensor so at night it would go on full force :)

Prima hotel op loopafstand van centrum (35 min) en strand (10 min). Aanvankelijk een kleine kamer aan de zijde van de parkeerplaats, die was wel heel klein. In de nacht werden de lakens en handdoeken met de nodige herrie in vrachtwagen geleden. Was niet heel fijn voor de nachtrust. Na onze klacht kregen wij direct een andere kamer (upgrade) naar de zijde van de stad (aan te bevelen deze te kiezen bij boeken). Hiermee waren wij zeer content, heel goed opgelost door het personeel. Verder prima ontbijt en gratis parkeerplaats.

It’s good hotel overlooking the city. You can reach San Sebastián easily via public transport. We stayed for one night,so we just need a sleepover, rooms are bit small for longer stay.

Private parking place, this is very important. Location very good, walking distance to the beach and old town. Comfortable, spacious room and beds, very clean. Reception staff can speak very good english. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

The hotel itself is very good and secure, but just pay attention only make pre-payment via message from hotel via booking.com, not reply to or click any link from any email or message who claimed to be hotel avenida. I received a phishing email as well as a Whatsapp message after booking this hotel via booking.com, the email and message sender knows exactly my name, booking date, email, cell phone number. This is really frustrated as I booked for this tour 14 hotels on booking.com, but only received phishing email & message for Hotel Avenida. I have talked with a gentleman at reception about this problem and forwarded both messages to hotel.

Een heerlijk rustgevend verblijf op de heuvel met uitzicht over de stad en de baai. Alles was schoon, luxe en goed geregeld. Het bed was heerlijk, de kamer ruim en stil; we hebben goed en diep geslapen en gaat met een mooie herinnering compleet uitgerust weer op pad. Een aanrader!
