Hotel Acadie Eragny sur Oise

Stayed several time at this Hotel. There is nothing better.. kind of French standard class. Very small tiny room but bigger bed in room 35. Very warm no aircondition or good ventilation. Small lobby as breakfast room. Free Wifi seems to be need of restart at reception for working good enough. Nothing else to do in Hotel and window view limited from room.

Have used this hotel several times over a number of years and found it to be more than adequate for a short stay. Rooms are generally OK but shower cubicles are, mostly, quite “snug” and cleaning is occasionally less than diligent. Breakfast buffet is not bad, with all the usual cereal, cold meats, fruit etc. that you’d expect. The restaurant is exceptionally good for a small two star hotel and service is mostly friendly with one member of staff being notable exception! The reception is friendly with the owner and senior manager both having good English and also being patient enough to allow time for anyone who speaks French poorly to at least try. There is, though, one woman who sometimes works on reception and in the restaurant who has never been anything but grumpy on any of my visits. I rate it highly of its type. It is, after all, a small hotel on a main road near an industrial estate and, as such, caters mainly for short-stay business travellers. It provides very good value for money.

No, I'm not on a suicide mission, but the reason I came back a second time was the lack of available rooms in other hotels in the area. They have certainly shaped up since my last visit. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the receptionist even spoke good English. The lobby and restaurant has obviously seen some fairly recent renovations. It's clean and tidy. THAT is unfortunately nothing you can say about the rooms. Worn-down, questionable Housekeeping and very small. € 100/night with breakfast is about 20-25% to expensive for this hotel. Free (and fast) WiFi throughout the hotel is a great plus.

Dark, dirty, rude reception staff. The only thing positive is free WiFi and the Les 3 Brasseurs pub & restaurant across the road. It is a very laud hotel with a busy 4-lane highway just outside the hotel entrance. I only stayed here cause it's close to our local offices, but I wóuld not recommend it to any one. Reception staff has an attitude (all of them). When you arrive, they look at you like: "What do you want here?". Not very nice or welcoming at all. I've had other colleagues who share my view.
