Comfort Inn Lacey - Olympia

The location was fine, I have stayed there in years past.

I discovered my room door open upon arrival at the door; I entered to find the window was wide open; The room was freezing cold. I asked for another room; I discovered exactly the same problem as the previous room. My two visits to the floor to access my rooms was unpleasant - there was horseplay among parents and loud children at several rooms; The hallway was occupied by a young family, and one of the children was crying loudly. I WENT BACK TO THE FRONT DESK and asked if they were housing families for extended-stay rental - Yes, they were. I asked for permission to cancel.

We had a very unfortunate situation because a windstorm occurred and 3 heavy trees fell on the roof of the hotel around 1 AM. We were not far from that crash. My concern was I didn’t see any emergency lights in the room or minimal in the hallway. We couldn’t leave the parking lot due to the trees that fell down so I had to crawl over an elevated embankment to get Uber. I had a heart procedure at Providence. Power was also out. But Cheyenne, one of the staff members was amazing and helping us out so the staff was great.

Good location didn’t partake in breakfast but it looked good
