Ocean Park Inn

The vibe and decor of this hotel are FUN. Perfect location for strolling the boardwalk and visiting all parts of San Diego. Appreciated the breakfast, beach towels in the room, and the availability of underground parking. Our balcony was the perfect spot to catch the sunset and people watch!

The location is unbeatable. We took walks on the beach every morning and experienced lovely sunsets each evening. The front desk held our luggage and even got us into our room a bit early. A few families we talked to said they return here every year. We loved our stay here.

Location next to beach and a number of restaurants in walking distance

Ocean view room on the first floor, had to see over homeless characters, and on one day MAGA merchandise set up next to the boardwalk.

I liked the location, easy to walk the beach. I had a view of the beach and could listen to the waves at night. Room was upbeat and clean. No desk in room so I just had to relax instead of checking my work. Had streaming service so I could watch my shows on the internet.

Everything was wonderful. Perfect location!

We had an amazing and memorable stay at the Ocean Park Inn. We were celebrating my partner’s birthday, and they added some thoughtful touches that made her feel special. The hotel is very well cared for and clean. You can tell they take pride in keeping the place nice. The amenities were great, and the staff really stood out. Patty, who runs the breakfast buffet was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed chatting with her in the mornings. We appreciated the later breakfast hours and the overall quality of the food, even right before breakfast was ending. The Passport they give you for partner restaurants was a nice bonus. We used it at The Hideaway and got 20% off. It ended up being one of the best meals we had in San Diego, and was one of the best burgers I've had in years! We also met Jerry early in our stay while asking about shortcuts to the beach and around the hotel, and we quickly became friends. He made us feel like part of the family and gave great recommendations around San Diego. He was spot on with everything. This hotel does a great job of making you feel at home, with a laid-back feel and great vibes all around. Next time we’re in San Diego, we’ll definitely plan to stay here again.
