Extremely noisy! Both from the outside and the corridor.

Truly loved my stay here at Pali Hotel SF. Amazing location right in Union Square, easy to get around and walk everywhere. Staff was absolutely wonderful and friendly. From the clean room to the beautiful aesthetic design of the entire hotel, this is a must stay spot! I will definitely be back.

I had a terrible experience at the Palihotel. I did not sleep well my entire stay due to excessive noise. My room on the fourth floor was incredibly noisy with loud glass breaking sounds in the courtyard multiple times in the middle of the night. It sounded like someone throwing glass beer bottles into a trash compactor. I heard strange rushing water and creaky pipe sounds all night in my room too. I live downtown in a city on a busy street. I am used to loud traffic and sirens, but this level of noise was unbearable and worse than when I stayed at a hotel in Times Square in Manhattan. My room was missing a coffee machine (even though the website says every room has a coffee machine) when I checked in at 10pm. The front desk said they couldn't get one for me until tomorrow. The next morning I ran out of shower gel after my first shower. It also took about 15 minutes for my shower to have hot water and the bathroom sink only had cold water my entire stay. The next morning at 7am I asked the front desk to replace the shower gel and the coffee machine while I was out at an all day work event. When I came back exhausted and jet lagged at 9pm, my room was still missing shower gel and the coffee machine. Luckily, after visiting the front desk, a kind woman in housekeeping did give me more shower gel, a coffee machine, and coffee pods. While the hotel location is great and the decor is stylish, I will not be staying again at the Palihotel during my next work trip to San Francisco, due to the noise, the plumbing, the missing room amenities, and the poor service. On top of everything, after checking out, I was charged for a $5 Snickers bar that I did not touch or eat.

They vibe of the hotel is awesome, very mid-century modern. I actually made a video of it because it is so beautiful! The staff were friendly and very easy to talk to. The bar upstairs was quirky and I loved the live music.

The Wi-Fi was patchy at best which wasn't ideal since I was there for work. It is a shame that you don't have any options for breakfast.
