PrimeStay Extended Suites by IHG

My family and I have stayed at this hotel on our way to and from our Thanksgiving travel. This year, I couldn’t believe how low-quality and dirty everything was. The room had clearly not been vacuumed. The front desk person didn’t mention an additional cost for a pet until after I had already paid. I have never had to pay an additional fee—including when I stayed at the Residence Inn in Rockford IL 4 days earlier. The morning breakfast was, by far, the most disappointing. The powdered eggs were so badly made that I spit them out. There were no tongs for the bread and it all was clearly just thrown in the holders. The coffee wasn’t hot. The food wasn’t hot. It was awful and we won’t be staying there again.

Stayed two nights on 9/17/22. The condition of the room was deplorable. Tile floors and counters were sticky, carpet had stains, bathroom sink had whiskers left in it. The room has experienced extreme wear and needs updating. We used the pull out sofa for our kids to sleep on, but the metal frame was in such bad shape that it was dangerous, so we moved the mattress to the floor for their safety. We went down to breakfast at 8:30 and the offerings were meager and picked over, and the eating and serving areas were dirty. Would not recommend.

May 26, 2022, I came to your hotel; I had instructions to meet there with our team. Mr. Nicholas Wagner, thank you so very much for giving me a great rate to stay at your fabulous hotel. Later, I found out that I had been given the wrong location to meet, so I only stayed one night. I had never stayed at a Residence Inn. Your rooms are very clean and beautiful. From now on, I will check these hotels out when I am traveling. Hopefully, they will have great managers like you. Again, thank you for welcoming me at your hotel, giving me such a great rate and a very nice place to stay..

Just ensure to reinforce your sanitation in the rooms especially that will kill or eliminate little insects. Thanks.

Terribly dirty, especially for what we paid. Old and grungy. Would NEVER GO BACK.

Nice but older property. The front desk staff was VERY POLITE!

While I stayed here for work (24 nights), Nat and Matt were absolutely amazing! They were helpful in providing assistance and answering all of my questions. They also gave great suggestions on where to go in the area as well, all of which were great experiences!
