The facilities are really good and the hotel has a rooftop restaurant that has great views of the beach. It’s great for families and my kids enjoyed the Tuesday and Thursday events— mermaid and movie night. You can also get discount tickets to Jolly Roger from the hotel.

Housekeeping is why I won’t give an excellent rating. We noticed they did not properly clean the bathroom or the floors daily . They failed to clean the tub and left old towels on the floor. I had to complain to front desk about this and they noted it for housekeeping. Daily cleaning should be the norm.

The location is good, It away from the noisy south O.C.area. Lot of free parking and easy to access the Coastal highway. The updated are obvious. It looks like the ownership is trying to improve service. The complimentary ride to the beach was very good..

The unexpected “Resort Fee.” No where in the website or Bookings.com was a resort fee mentioned.
