Howard Johnson by Wyndham Roseburg

I was going to stay at a different hotel that was less, but they didn’t have breakfast. When we checked in they told me that they only give a grab and go and the office opens at 10:00 to get it. There was coffee in the room but no machine to make it. The fans in the bathroom was very noisy. There was only one face cloth and no bath math . If I was Booking.com I wouldn’t use them .

None our reservation was for 22 queen beds the room they had with a queen bed and a rollout. The room also had been a smokers room and I am sensitive to tobacco smoke. We did not spend the night. I am requesting a full refund.

The property looked like an old apartment complex renovated to a hotel. My wife and I are Wyndham member and this was not what I have come to expect staying at a Wyndham property.

Access was from the street only. No elevator with steep concrete and metal stairs. As a senior lugging my luggage to the second level was not easily done.

It was not a place where I felt safe. They have tried to upgrade with paint.

The place did not feel safe for me. I would not stay there again. The office was usually closed and locked.
