I really wanted to like this property as the staff were so lovely/attentive, and the location convenient. I booked a deluxe suite. The room size was good, but the room was so tired and in need of an overhaul. Much of the caulking on the bathroom floor needs to be repaired, the cabinetry all banged up, and walls/wallpaper repainted and replaced. I alerted them to excessive mold in the shower-they attended to it that day- but they still did a lousy job and big patches of it remained. They also need to run a vacuum through as the carpet was not clean. Lastly, a lot of black hairs all over the sofa. Yuck! The housekeeping manager is not doing their job! I stay at the Nikko in Nagoya every year and it is such an amazing hotel, I was hoping the same from the Kanazawa property.
