Breakfast and location was execellent

I booked for a two beds and when I arrived in the area the staff told me that in his system it only shows 1 bed. We are tired after a long trip and just really want to sleep and to call the booking.com later. Then the staff knocked on our door and told us we can change a room to double bed. He could call first before letting us to go in that 1 room with 1 bed. Because the price I paid and agreed when I booked the room was 2 beds

We searched for rooms as we were only in the area for one night.. this hotel was pretty cheap and I figured it couldn’t be that bad. We arrived, 1. The area was super sketch. During check in I asked the front desk lady to not place us close to the elevator. She stated oh you’re not close to the elevator, and it’s very quiet. We go to room 220. The room is 1 room away from the elevator. I pull the top blanket back and sit under the top sheet. I feel something “crinkle” against my feet, and I look and it’s an old ATM receipt from a previous guest. We continue inspecting the beds, and find dirt, hair, and something that looked like dead leaves. I go back down to the front desk to voice my concerns, and she moved us to 221. There’s a brown stain on the wall, dark black short hair in the beds, lint.. dirt… dried blood on the wall in the lobby. After that my kids and I went back down to the lobby to check out. I asked for a refund and she stated Dan Patel is the manager and he’ll be back on Monday but prob won’t issue a refund, but encouraged us to take a card. We went to the Drury hotel after. Yes it was more expensive but totally worth it! The next morning I get a text from Best Western stating PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR CHECK OUT TIME! So obviously the front desk girl did not check us out!! DO NOT STAY HERE! Pay a little more and go to Drury!
