Courtyard by Marriott La Crosse

Overall a good stay. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable bed. Staff were friendly. Hotel was clean and kept up. Elevator was quick and efficient. The only issue was that the hotel did not justify the price. Stayed two nights @ $250 for Sunday and $320 for Monday, for a suite with a couch and river view. Couch wasn't the most comfortable to watch TV and felt awkward, shower was a little tight, basic in room amenities, and not much literature on area businesses was found in the hotel (local restaurants needs to be updated on the hotel's website as many listed are no longer in business). Minor areas that would likely go unmentioned for $250 a night. When paying $320 a night my expectations are high, and I felt they were not met for the price paid. Again no real issues, just feel they need to step up the quality to justify the price.

We loved the pleasant staff and free parking, as well as comfy beds. There are so many walkable restaurants and bars to explore in the area, too.

Very nice

The hotel is located right on the Mississippi River. Our room had a beautiful river view. The location was great and walkable to downtown businesses, restaurants and bars. The room was very spacious, however, the bathroom vanity was very small. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. The lobby was nice with sitting areas about. The cafe served Starbucks cofee and food and was also a bar in the evening. Recommend staying at the Courtyard Marriott in La Crosse, WI

Room looked fresh and clean. Beds were comfy and AC worked great. The internet was rather slow/weak but otherwise a good stay.

Stayed here many years ago. This time, a generally positive experience. I was asked at check in if i wanted housekeeping every other day, or not at all. I don't know why it slushy just be daily by default at this hotels prices. I elected every other day, however throughout my three nights housekeeping never came. The shower needed some maintenance - water leaks all over the floor from the seam between the doors, and the shower head was heavily clogged with calcium (which costs pennies to prevent with some vinegar sprayed on the shower head at each cleaning). Minor things. No major complaints.
