La Quinta by Wyndham Chicago Gurnee

I liked that it was so close to Six Flags where I spent most of my time. I also liked the mini cheese omelets for breakfast..I also liked the room layout and the way the kitchen area was in that little alcove area.

My only disappointment in my room was the poor air conditioning unit. I had to set the thermostat on 62 to get the room barely comfortable. That would be my only hesitation about staying there again. In addition, I've stayed at other Wyndham hotels in three different states and never had to pay a deposit in addition to my room rate. This should be made know to the customer in the booking.com description before a person knows this deposit is going to be charged.

The breakfast was good

The $100 charge. My grandson paid for the room. I stayed 2 nights but I booked them separately. My grandson still has not been reimbursed for the second night.

Breakfast was ok. My grandkids enjoyed the pool. We abided by the quiet time rule and I had my 3 grandkids to bed by 9pm, but there was definitely kids running and screaming in the hallway after 11pm, close to 12am.

The room was very humid and smelled if the ac was turned off.
