Long Beach Resort Koh Rong

Abbiamo soggiornato in 2 persone in questo splendido piccolo resort, posto proprio davanti alla spiaggia più bella di Koh Rong, tenuta pulita da un efficiente e cortese staff, sempre pronto a rispondere ad ogni richiesta. Ringraziamo Kimsan ed il suo staff per averci accolti in questo piccolo angolo di paradiso. Per quanto riguarda il ristorante, abbiamo mangiato veramente benissimo! Consiglio a tutti gli amanti del sud est asiatico che vogliono rilassarsi qualche giorno.

the bungalows on the resort were as expected - air con in rooms was good - the food was excellent and the staff very attentive, cared about us enjoying ourselves and were helpful with onward journey - hire bikes through the reception so much fun to tour the island

Beautifull beach and sunset, food really tasty and delicious in fair prices.

It wasn’t clean enough. I had dirty bed and pillows. I spot roach in the middle of room it wasn’t happy meeting.

Right on the beach, good happy hour. Staff (evening staff) were incredible and so helpful. Room was clean and comfortable! Food was enjoyable.

Unfortunately not many things around the area, although can hire bikes. We thought we’d be able to walk to other restaurants however it’s pitch black and 2km. We had our washing done however this took almost 2 days (after us asking multiple times) and came back still wet with missing items and male underwear in our (female) washing. Limited menu food wise and slightly on the pricey side. Wifi very bad, staff stated due to storm. However no wifi whatsoever in the room. Breakfast was included but staff didn’t seem to know what was included (although it is written on the menu) had to keep asking for drink etc.

We stayed for 3 nights. Unfortunately the weather was only good for 1 of these days but this can’t be helped. Staff were very chatty and helpful in arranging transport around the island and back to the port early in the morning. Breakfast was very good & evening meals at the restaurant were tasty. Good drinks menu and happy hour. Really lovely part of the beach so worth it for that alone. I can imagine it is even nicer during peak season.

The path from main reception to the bungalows was not very well lit which made it difficult to walk and night and in bad weather. Room was a little basic, would have been nice to have a TV for the price you pay.

The beach views are nice.

I was very disappointed in my stay. I paid for a beach villa, however the air conditioning didn’t work, so I was moved to another cheaper villa off the beach (and was not refunded the difference). The villa itself was very dirty (stains on the sheets, and exposed dirt/ earth under the bed (see photos attached). Their is a gap in the door when locked/ closed so bugs get into the room day and night and there was no house cleaning. On my final night a group of Cambodian officials partied all day and night in the villa next to me and the manger did nothing about it. The music was so incredibly loud and they were drinking and partying with no consideration of other people. I called and messaged the manager many times, but nothing happened. They were still partying at 3am. I was promised 15% off my bill at check out but did not receive it. I was promised a refund of $80 US as an apology. This was never received. Take you hard earned money and go and stay down there else. I will never stay in this filthy/ disrespectful hotel again.

Filthy hotel! Rooms full of bugs from creeping in due to the door not fully closing. I was changed rooms multiple times (from a beach front villa to a villa far off the beach. They did not refund the money). On my final night a group of Cambodian official’s came and partied at the hotel all day and night. Loud music, girls and heaven drinking. The hotel manager did nothing to stop it and music was still blaring out at 9am the next day. I called and messaged the manager multiple times and he did nothing. I was promised a discount of 15%, and also an $80US refund. I received nothing.

We had a wonderful five nights at this hotel. It is ideally located on an amazing white beach that is quite and does not have lots of backpackers and bars. The staff were excellent and sorted out a number of issues we had with our travel arrangement. Finally Koh Rong is definitely worth visiting for a relaxing and rejuvenating break. The place for sunset
