We had a great stay at the Mimaru Kyoto Station, really enjoyed this line of hotels. The staff was great and the apartments are well suited for families. Great to have a nice quiet place to rest with the kids with space more equivalent to western travelers. Be prepared for early rises though as the shades behind the windows do not block much light.

We stayed in a Pokeman themed room. The kids loved it. Very spacious room with large dining table. Loved that it was close to Kyoto station.
