"Wonderful place!"

My stay at Massambaba Hostel was incredible, I highly recommend this place for everyone who wants the perfect balance of a calm, peaceful but still very social and familiar place. First of all the hostel is spotlessly clean and tidy (you could practically eat off the floor;-) ). The green, bright interior makes the hostel very inviting and you feel comfortable spending time in the common areas. Every morning Gabriellas mother welcomed me with a bright smile at breakfast, which is included and for the price very good, perfect start in the day ! :-) The location of the hostel is right at one of the beautiful beaches in Arraial, can't be better. And also a big thank you to Tadeo and Gabriella, who are running the hostel. They are so friendly, dedicated and welcome every guest with warmth. Whether it was a trip to the beach or dancing in a bar in the evening, the two of them really loved including me as a guest. You really have created a great place, I look forward to visiting you again!

I loved all the artwork and plants and overall the hostel is very visually appealing!

I wish it was a little cleaner and that there were more guests to socialize with.

"Worst place I've ever been!"

Everything is wrong, especially with the disrespectful staff who mistreated other guests while we were there. Location is not good cause the best beaches are not close. The worst part is thar they don't have free potable water available!!! They sell you the water!!! And last but not least: we could not use the fridge, it was for staff only! So if you are planning to stay for a couple of days you cannot buy fresh food at all. Worst place I've ever been!

Property is very close to the beach. Host was really friendly and welcoming. He was always eager to help. Thank you so much !!!!

I wished there was always toilet paper available. Sometimes I had to ask for toilet paper when we ran out of it and maybe the rooms could have been cleaned more often or could have provided a bin at least.

beautiful hostel. nice common places to work or relax. dorms are not crammed with ample space between beds. super strong AC. right by the beach. very friendly staff. nice kitchen to cook. this is clearly the best hostel in Arraial do Cabo. would definitely stay again

no fridge for guests to use. no free filtered water.
