Hostal Rural Can Pau

Location was amazing, but it was the welcome that made our trip. We were at least 4 hours later than expected due to traffic. Our welcome from the owner Marie was exceptional. She showed us a larger room than booked due to the size of our dog which was brilliant. She bought wine and olives to the room for us. There was a bottle of water in the room for us. Her hospitality and empathy at a 10 hour drive due to traffic instead of 7 was amazing. At breakfast she was an amazing hostess.

Amazingly warm welcome from Maria the owner and very helpful and friendly staff. The food in the restaurant was lovely and a really nice breakfast served in the morning. Will definitely be going back!

Great breakfast. Large and comfortable room. We also tried the restaurant which was superb. We can certainly recommend a menu

We were nicely welcomed upon arrival. Room was great. We also received free water and drinks. Coffee was available. Our dog was also very welcome. Breakfast was excellent. All fresh products and pastry. We had fresh orange juicy and coffee. We also received a free lunch package. The host was very friendly and helpfully. We will certainly go back here whenever we travel to Spain.

Great short stay hotel..quit near freeway but still feels like the countryside. More than friendly staff makes you feel very at home

Although the fridge in the room (especially with the complimentary beer & water) was great it also makes a little noice..nothing too bad though
