Holiday Inn Express - Bowling Green by IHG

This location was wonderful and convenient for our family. All the employees were super friendly and our room was very clean The breakfast was hot and delicious! Our check in was smooth and extremely efficient. I have nothing but good things to say!!

We went to Bowling Green on a shopping trip and chose to stay at this Holiday Inn as the one we usually stay at definitely need renovated. We are glad we did. I get very anxious going to a hotel we are not familiar with. A very big shout out and Thank You to Katelyn! When we arrived I was anxious and she really calmed me down she welcomed us like we were family. When we took our things to our room as we were unpacking she called from the front desk to make sure I was okay and satisfied with the room. We were both so impressed with her caring and courtesy. And everytime we saw her she always made us feel like we were "home". The others we met, Gabrielle, Dervis, and Jeslynn were always friendly and made us feel welcome. Now for the room. It was a very nice room. Very clean and didn't have that 'hotel smell'. And it was a good size room. The sink is separate from the toilet and shower which we like. There were only three things we didn't like. The light in the mirror above the sink was way too bright and hard on our eyes. We also found the bed to be a little hard for us but some people probably prefer a firmer bed. The very worst thing was the fan in the shower area. It is extremely noisy but it comes on with the light switch so you can't turn it off. Almost made us want to shower in the dark. We also had a couple maintenance problems but Tony the very friendly and helpful maintenance man fixed them for us. As you can tell by this long review we liked it here a lot and would definitely recommend Holiday Inn. We will be sure to stay here again. (I have never written a review this long before) :)

Price was very reasonable. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the best hotel’s we’ve stayed in for the price in a long time. Breakfast was excellent!

Visited this wonderful hotel yet again on my way up to Michigan for family. . We were just here in June and quality is the same! I never have a complaint whenever I stay here, because check-in is so easy and thankfully, I had Katelyn again! She is such a saint, especially when I arrived late in the evening and even offered to help unload my bags since I was traveling with my 86-year-old mother. . I can’t help but notice others reviews and complaints and all I have to say is trust your gut, since a lot of people copy and paste and don’t take the time to actually research. (Eyeroll) Breakfast was amazing and whoever was in the kitchen, made the crispies bacon, melt in your mouth and that’s just the way I like it. . They didn’t have much variety of fresh fruit, as they may have been out. No worries. . . We had a U-Haul since we were moving a lot of of my mother’s things back up to Michigan, and Katelyn let me know that the parking was available in Sonny’s overflow lot. Yes it was a bit of a walk for myself but they were a full house and I completely understand. She even offered to take my bags up the room like I said before but I managed it no problem.

This was a two year old renovation from some other style hotel. My biggest issue was the bathroom sink next to the entry door. The second issue I had was that we did NOT receive room service (clean towels) for our entire 3 night stay, had to get clean towels every day from the front desk. The tub/shower combo is small with no grab rails within the tub/shower. Finial issue is all the brown stains on the bathroom walls. This was booked online and paid for in advanced. The good is that Holiday Inns have a worthy breakfast included in the nightly rate.
