Staff are friendly and helpful, but the bathroom needs improvement

I stayed in the Hotel Royal for two weeks while finding a place to live. It is a charming riad style hotel with a central courtyard with plants and birds to accompany you as you eat breakfast. It is very centrally located and reasonably priced. The rooms are well fitted out with a strong sense of tradition in the carpets and interesting historic photos of Oujda. My only complaint was that the hot water for the shower was not always available. However, the best attraction would have to be the very sweet and caring staff who are very obliging and wish to help in every way.This really was the highlight for me.

I spent 2 nights in this Hotel and was very satisfied by the quality of the service. Managed to negociate a good rate at 2 am. The hotel stays opened all night and is very safe. The receptionist was always available and did his best. The cheapest rooms are much better than the cheapest rooms you will find in most european countries. All in all, i was pleased and would definitely go back to this hotel. Azdine
