To keep story short, on my next travel to Palermo, I would like to have the opportunity to stay at Sol&Luna 1909 again. Location - amazing. Just short walking distance from popular, must see monuments, markets, bars, restaurants but still within residential area, giving you a bit of local vibe. Apartment- clean, spacious, comfortable. And at the end, it was not only the location and place that made our first visit to Palermo exceptional, it was our great hosts: Maria Rita and Luigi. They are example of tourism/ tourist service which you would never expect in a big anonymous city and world nowadays in general, but they made so much extra effort to make sure we feel safe, welcomed, entertained. They were available anytime, anywhere if needed, when needed. We were so lucky to book their place and grateful for lifetime experience we got! Maria Rita and Luigi have reminded us: it is all about the people! Thank you soo much!

A well equipped apartment is one thing, Sol&Luna feels like a home that I could live in and not just for a couple nights stay. The owner Maria Rita and Luigi are very friendly people, they made us feel like we are friends staying in their place and not just a paying customer.

We liked this place a lot.
