It was close to my destination and close to the freeway.

The toilet overflowing. It happened late at night and there was no one to repair it or clean the mess. It took quite some time and effort for us to get another room. It was the first time I ever stayed at a hotel with bulletproof glass at the check-in desk, that was disconcerting to see upon arrival.

The staff was unprofessional and mean to me and several guests, plus the room wasn't clean; there were bugs in the room and the lock didn't work.

Not much.

Very dirty, hair in our beds, what looked like mouse feces on the table, the walls had hand prints and dirt all over them, the pillows were tiny.
