La Quinta by Wyndham Altoona Des Moines

The La Quinta in Altoona Iowa is our favorite stop on are way to and from Washington State. The personal are always frindly and helpful. The rooms are clean well kept. Ed

Great room and a nice breakfast.

Biggest challenge was the distance from my car: I walk with a cane and my room was a lot of hallways and distance to get to.

Most la quintas are very clean and comfortable. These pillows seemed lumpy but I’m a fussy pillow person so sorry about that, lol! The breakfast had many options and eggs and meat was very very awesome, haven’t seen that for long time, so thank you. Did you stop baking the cookies? I didn’t see any in the lobby?

The pet rooms were on the third floor, how dumb is that? Even with the elevator, sure is idiotic to have on 3rd instead of first. Plus the dog area needs a bit more light, pretty dark for women having to take their dog out for last pee for night.
