"Super Bad Service "

I checked into my double queen room with my 3 friends, all adults. Once we were settled in I went down to get an extra set of sheets and a blanket for the air mattress we brought. One of the other guests then went down to grab another set of towels, and the woman at the front desk was extremely rude to him and said she was going to charge us more because we "didn't tell her we had 4 staying in the room vs the 2 people she was anticipating." It became a big deal, but we were all at the desk when we checked in and it never crossed our mind as being an issue at all. We then said there were no additional rooms online or else we would have gotten two, and she told us there was 1 additional room available and charged us double the nightly rate to reserve the additional room. We stayed here because of a large concert in Waco about 25 minutes away. Everything closer to Waco was sold out and this was our last option at lodging, otherwise we'd never have stayed here. It was a rough experience.

We booked an apartment with one King bed, but were given a completely different one with two Queen beds. When we entered the room, there was a terrible smell, similar to a hospital, which was very unpleasant. The air conditioning was turned off, and the room was extremely hot. We had to wait about 40 minutes for it to cool down. Unfortunately, the stay was disappointing.

The entire hotel has an odor to it. It’s obviously an older hotel when they had smoking rooms. The moment that you walk in the door, you can smell. It smells like cigarette smoke. The entire hotel smells like this, even the rooms.
